      How do I use the BIM and DWG viewer in Prostream?

      Prostream includes a smart feature for checking and viewing BIM and DWG: the BIM Viewer.

      1. Go to the document you want to view via Documents
      2. Click on the document concerned
      3. The properties of the document will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. Select the 3D icon. Your file will now be converted to a format that is suitable for viewing in the browser. This only has to happen once and may take a few minutes.
      4. After this is done, click on the icon of a cube to view the model. 

      Aspect models

      If you want to view several aspect models at once, select them in the document grid and then click the View 3D models button. The files that have already been converted will now open as a composite model in the Prostream BIM Viewer. 

      When the BIM viewer is used on a mobile device within the Safari browser, some settings on the mobile (Apple) device might have to be adjusted in order to actually view models. If the viewer does not work, check whether the following is ticked.

      Settings > Safari > Advanced > Experimental WebKit Features > WebGL 2.0
