How do I send a message in Prostream?

Quickly share information with your coworkers by sending them a message.

  1. Go to your messages. You will find your messages in the left menu in Prostream, both within your organization and your projects.
  2. Create a new message. You can create a new message with the button at the top left.
  3. Add recipients. In the 'To' field, enter the names or email addresses of the recipients. You can also add recipients to the CC and BCC.
  4. Add a topic. This way the recipients know what your message is about.
  5. Write your message. Add your message in the text field. Use the buttons to format your message.
  6. Add attachments. Choose the files from your local computer that you want to send. You can also add the files from your collection folder. 
  7. Send your message. When you're done composing your message, click the Send button.

Do you want to add files (attachments) directly from the document overview, for example from a folder or collection folder? Then go to the relevant folder, select the files and click on New message. The files are then immediately added to a new message.

All sent and received messages are visible in the message overview. You can filter and sort here to get the overview you want. Messages can be marked as read or unread, and the number of unread messages is displayed in the navigation menu.

Note: It is important to note that message drafts are not supported in the current version.
