What can I do with the Microsoft Office integration?

With the Microsoft Office integration in Prostream, you can work directly with your colleagues on your files.

To use the Microsoft Office integration, first upload a version of your Excel, Powerpoint or Word file to Prostream. Then select the file and choose the Office icon.

The file opens in a new tab, including all the Office functionalities you are used to. Continue working on the file. When you're done, just close the tab: Prostream will automatically save your changes and create a new version of your file containing the changes. You can find the new version in the log of the file.

How can I collaborate at the same time with the Microsoft Office integration?

With the Microsoft Office integration, you and your colleagues can work together in a document at the same time. In the document overview in Prostream you can see if one (or more) of your colleagues has opened the file. When you then open the file with the Office integration, you will receive the following message:

If you click Yes, the file will open. In the top right corner you will see the initials of the colleagues who are active at that moment.
